Shelter / Warming Center

Here are the locations where you can go and get warm if you have no power. Warming stations have been set up at the Civic Centre in St. George. D-F-O Biological Station in St. Andrews. St. Croix Christian Center (former Milltown Legion) In Calais, the Washinton Country Community College is open as a Warming Center too. You can get more information on the emergency centres that have been set up by calling the Red Cross at 1-800-222-9597.

All Schools in the Anglophone School District South closed today. All Schools in AOS 77 in Maine are cancelled today. Family Resource Center is closed today.

The following schools will be closing at 2pm due to a power outage. St. Stephen Elementary School St. Stephen Middle School St. Stephen High School Milltown Elementary School Lawrence Station School Also...The Boys and Girls Club of Charlotte County has no power and is closing for the day. All children must be picked up asap.

All schools in the Alglophone School District South are OPEN. (But)…All school busses are on a 1 hour delay start.

All schools in the Alglophone School District West are OPEN today except for Harvey and McAdam which are closed.

The Washington County Community College has a 2 hour delay start this morning. They will not open till 10 am US time.

Feb 28th

In the Anglophone School District South….All Schools are closed in the St. Stephen Education Center and the Saint John Education Center.

The Grandmanan School on Grandmanan Island will be closing at 11:30 this morning due to the weather.

NBCC Winter Carnival Cancelled

The NBCC St. Andrews Winter Carnival scheduled for Saturday, Feb 9th has been cancelled due to the pending storm.  It will be re-scheduled at a later date.

CICS Closing at 10am

The Campobello Island Consolodated School is closing at 10am this morning due to the storm.
Students will be dismissed at 10am.
